The Mile Book™ — Your Passport to Fitness

The Mile Book™ is an inspirational fitness journal that is easy-to-use, compact and durable. As the name implies, the main focus (and benefit to you) is to track the number of miles you exercise, whether that is by running, cycling, walking or any other cardiovascular exercise that you enjoy. It is a Passport to Fitness for everyone at any age, from the average exerciser to ultra-athletes and even has a world record connection.

The Power is in its Name —By focusing on one goal, that of Miles, instead of those multiple and sometimes vague goals we often set for ourselves, it removes all ambiguity and gives you one singular focus. The benefit of this cannot be overstated. By focusing on the number of Miles you exercise you will improve your entire cardiovascular system, but especially your heart and legs. These are vital to good health and mobility and parts of your body over which you have the greatest influence over their condition. The Power is in its Name.

The World Record Connection

Few people know the value of setting goals and accurate performance records in fitness more than George Hood. At the age of 49, he broke the Guinness World Record on a stationary bike not just once, but twice. The first time, errors in record keeping denied his certification, but in July of this year he broke the record by over 38%, pedaling 111 hours, 11 minutes and 11 seconds, while a GWR official witnessed the event. SAM, Inc. was the official record keeper. Many of George's principles are built into the Mile Book and they are just as valuable to the average exerciser as they are to ultra-athletes.
